Much thanks to Chris Brooks, Scott Strattner, Ernie Johnson, Mike O’Connor\u00a0and Dan Rosa\u00a0who have made suggestions to build the schedule.\u00a0 This is an attempt to accommodate the\u00a0varied preferences of the many players in the community at large.\u00a0 It is subject to change!\u00a0 For example we dropped the Dual Rated tournament that was listed for Dec.\u00a0 Players prefer Quick or Regular but not both.\u00a0 Our annual business\u00a0meeting is March 7 at 7 PM. Please come to express your opinions and elect officers.\u00a0 Chris Brooks gets special thanks as he passed his TD Certification Exam\u00a0and has already directed 2 tournaments!\u00a0 Chris also made some dramatic new suggestions which we will begin trying this Winter and Spring Chess Season.<\/p>\n
We are dropping the variety of entry fees and going back to $5 entry fee for a regular tournament. The new special format tournaments which are\u00a0a way to equalize pairings will be $1 per game.\u00a0 We have 3 of these scheduled. See the SCHEDULE for the format.\u00a0 Again, this new format was suggested by Chris Brooks!<\/p>\n
