DESCRIPTION:Overview:\nThis is a 3-round Quad tournament\, held on Saturday\, March 21.\nPlayers are grouped into sections of 4 people by rating\, and you play each opponent in your section once.\nIf the total number of players isn’t divisible by 4\, the lowest-rated section will be structured as a small\, 3-round Swiss System tournament.\nPacking a lunch or snack is recommended; there will be some extra time before the third round begins at 1 PM.\nWe meet in Rockefeller Hall\, Room 104\, on the beautiful Vassar College campus. The campus has parking in various locations; you may want to allow a few minutes to walk from parking to Rockefeller Hall.\nParticipants must have an active US Chess Federation membership so that all the games can be rated. \nDetails:\n3 Rounds \nTime control: Game in 40 minutes\, with a 5-second clock delay (G/40 d5) \nRegistration in advance at https://chessnut.club/e/vassar-chadwick-saturday-quad \nOn-site registration is at 9 AM. \n$5 Entry Fee\, paid on site\, is waived for Vassar College students and staff. \nFirst round 9:30 AM \nSecond round 11 AM \nThird round 1 PM
