Craig Fisher was elected President yesterday in the emergency meeting, Scott Strattner was elected Vice President, and Ernie Johnson remains Secretary.

Rudy Van Dommele leads the DCC with a perfect 4/4, a full point clear of the field after upsetting favorite Leo Freyvert.  Ayman Haoula and Scott Strattner follow with 3/4.  Rudy will play the also undefeated Scott next week. John Weigand won the HIgh School Reserve section of our state scholastic championship with a final score of 5.5/6!  He blundered in the final game and merely was able to salvage a draw with an opposite colored bishop ending.  He also wins free entry into this year’s NYS Championship.  Congrats to him!

Due to Winter Storm Riley related damage, current VP Craig Fisher were not in attendance at the club meeting, same goes for current secretary Ernie Johnson.  Up for discussion was the lack of attendance during the winter, and earlier finish times for most tournaments.  We do have a Coldenham tournament coming up on April 28,…
