According to the evil meteorologists, this Monday may be yet another snowy mess, with a Winter Storm Warning until Tuesday morning. The ill-fated Year of the Goat Swiss was originally a three round G/75 event, but that turned into a two round Swiss, which was also cancelled, and now hopes are on a one day four round Quick Swiss (G/15) this Monday. If that doesn’t pan out, it will have made 3 club cancellations in a row. As a reminder, next week the club does not have a tournament scheduled, as many members (including most of the active TDs) will be in Parsippany for USATE.

But do not fear, we are still here. After USATE we have the club championship starting Feb 23rd. The DCC always brings the biggest field, eager to get their name on the plaque of champions.

Before you decide to head to Vassar this Monday, please check your email in case the tournament is cancelled.
