35 members participated in the Grand Prix which ran at the Vassar-Chadwick Chess Club from September until the completion of the 38th Annual Dutchess County Championship. Leo Freyvet topped all comers with 85 points while Chris Brooks finished 2nd with 68 points. Mike Mendez who played in every tournament for a whole year capped the Under 1800 trophy with 50 points.
