INTRODUCING the VASSAR-CHADWICK GRAND PRIX ! The basic idea is that playing in our Rated tournaments (with the exception of blitz round robin tourneys) will earn you Grand Prix GP points from Sept 21 to the last day of the Duchess County Championship in Spring 2016. The winner who accumulates the most points will get his/her name on a plaque similar to our 37 names (1 for each of 37 years) on the DCC plaques! Also an additional prize will be given.   Points are awarded as follows: For each tournament game you lose, you get 1 GP point; for each tournament game you draw, you get 2 GP points; and for each tournament game you win, you get 3 GP points. The running totals will be posted after each tournament all year long.
