Ernie Johnson and Darius Jafary tied for 1st in our April Action, both with a score of 3/4! Ron Holland and Trevor Brooks tied for the u1900, with 2/4. Ori got the u1500 by himself with 1.5/4. All prizes for this tournament were Grand Prix pts. Congrats to our winners. The Poughkeepsie Spring Open starts Monday, and its our last GP tournament for the season.
The Grand Prix has been updated, and everyone has been color coded into class “sections”. Prizes will be announced soon, and again this year’s GP ends with games on May 7. Prizes will be distributed on May 21.
Congratulations to 2018 Dutchess County Champion Rudy Von Dommele for becoming the club’s newest expert! Trevor Brooks also joins the ranks of the other A players in the club. Ron Holland was the big point grabber, with 130 (!) points over five rounds.

Round5A reminder that the Grand Prix will be updated after the final round of the DCC. Everyone that has played her since last September will be slotted into class based categories based on their highest live rating achieved since then. Prizes are TBA.
