Much thanks to Chris Brooks, Scott Strattner, Ernie Johnson, Mike O’Connor and Dan Rosa who have made suggestions to build the schedule.  This is an attempt to accommodate the varied preferences of the many players in the community at large.  It is subject to change!  For example we dropped the Dual Rated tournament that was listed for Dec.  Players prefer Quick or Regular but not both.  Our annual business meeting is March 7 at 7 PM. Please come to express your opinions and elect officers.  Chris Brooks gets special thanks as he passed his TD Certification Exam and has already directed 2 tournaments!  Chris also made some dramatic new suggestions which we will begin trying this Winter and Spring Chess Season.

We are dropping the variety of entry fees and going back to $5 entry fee for a regular tournament. The new special format tournaments which are a way to equalize pairings will be $1 per game.  We have 3 of these scheduled. See the SCHEDULE for the format.  Again, this new format was suggested by Chris Brooks!
